As a native of Atlanta, PeggyDee checks most of the boxes of a proud Southerner – unique double name, large family, and lover of all things Georgia – peaches, Cherokee roses, and sweet tea (actually, she prefers Diet Coke).

The youngest of four strong women and an A-type personality, PeggyDee grew up in a structured and routine-oriented environment, which cultivated her appreciation for lists, clear processes, and organization. With her tenacious and driven personality, it was easy to apply these aspects towards her roles in administration and executive support in the business world. Although she thrives in the fast paced and ever-changing landscape of corporate environments, she desired an outlet where she could express her creativity, while applying her strong management skills, towards something she is passionate about.

2020 served as a year to refocus and adjust priorities for everyone. It was during this time that PeggyDee recognized her passion for event planning – weddings in particular. With years of experience planning and hosting personal events – such as dinner parties and Christmas teas, combined with corporate events, executive dinners, training seminars, and conferences – it only seemed natural to create a new brand and introduce Atlanta to Ivory Post & Co.

The name expresses the style and standards that PeggyDee brings to every event. Ivory represents her admiration for classic elegance and the etiquette of the timeless teachings of Emily Post create the foundation for every occasion.

With these in mind, Ivory Post & Co. was created to provide brides, host/hostess, and corporate managers a resource to assist them in creating innovative, well organized, and memorable events.
